Requests, dates and pickup

Start with the equipment and dates. The team confirms the rental with you.

Does an online request reserve a trailer?

No. Sending your dates starts a request. Roadside confirms equipment availability, the exact unit, your towing setup or delivery plan, and the complete price before the rental is booked. The request itself does not charge your card.

Send a rental request

Can I request a same-day trailer rental?

Contact the team with the trailer, load and timing you need. Same-day availability and a handoff time must be confirmed before you travel. A published trailer listing does not guarantee that it is ready for your requested dates.

Ask about your dates

Where do I pick up my rental?

Pickup is at 8725 SW Commercial St, Tigard, OR 97223. There is one Roadside pickup lot. Agree your equipment and handoff time with the team before traveling; 24/7 rental support does not mean unscheduled pickup access.

Pickup location and local guides

How long is a daily trailer rental?

A daily rental period is 24 hours. Roadside records the agreed pickup and return times with your rental. Coordinate loading, unloading and return travel around that confirmed schedule.

Daily and longer rental terms

Can I extend my trailer rental?

Contact Roadside before your return deadline. Extra time depends on equipment availability and an agreed new return time and price. Keeping the trailer longer without approval is not a confirmed extension.

Rates, payment and other charges

Published prices are for equipment rental. Review the complete quote and agreement.

Compare rental rates and fees

Are weekly and monthly trailer rentals available?

Published weekly rates for requestable equipment include 12′ High-Side Dump: $500 per week; 20′ Enclosed Cargo: $700 per week. Other equipment, monthly terms and ongoing projects are quoted by the team. Share the unit, dates and expected duration.

Longer rental options

How much do trailer delivery and retrieval cost?

The existing rental agreement lists $50 per drop and $50 per retrieval, in addition to rental. Send your full location, access details and dates so Roadside can confirm the delivery plan and complete quote.

Delivery and pickup arrangements

Are dump fees included in the rental price?

No. The published price is for the trailer rental. Hauling and disposal require a separate agreed scope and quote. Explain your materials and whether you will empty the trailer yourself or need Roadside to handle the haul-away.

Dump rentals and cleanup options

When do I pay for a trailer rental?

The existing agreement requires full payment before equipment is released. Sending a website request does not charge your card. Review the confirmed rental price, other agreed charges and payment arrangements with Roadside before pickup or delivery.

Fees and payment terms

Are there late-return or cleaning charges?

The existing rental agreement lists $30 per hour for late returns and $25 if equipment is returned in unacceptable dirty condition. Review the complete agreement before release and contact the team before your return deadline if the plan needs to change.

Choose the right trailer

Match the equipment to the load, dimensions and loading method.

Is the 14-foot hydraulic dump trailer available?

The 14-foot hydraulic dump is currently marked unavailable and cannot be requested while that status applies. Compare the 6×12 high-side dump or another suitable option, then confirm dates and load requirements with the team.

Current 14-foot dump status

Which trailer works for a garage or yard cleanout?

The 6′ × 12′ × 4′ 12′ High-Side Dump is listed for bulky household and yard-cleanup loads. Share the materials, estimated weight and disposal plan. The team confirms the selected unit’s payload and dates before approving the rental.

Explore the high-side dump

Can I haul gravel, dirt or construction debris?

Ask Roadside to review the material and estimated weight first. Dense loads can reach the weight limit before the trailer looks full. Confirm the unit’s usable payload, loading plan and disposal or unloading arrangements before filling it.

Plan a material or debris load

Do you rent an enclosed trailer for moving?

The fleet includes the 8.5′ × 20′ 20′ Enclosed Cargo for covered cargo such as furniture and event gear. Published exterior dimensions do not establish usable interior space. Confirm door clearance, payload and dates for the belongings you want to move.

Enclosed cargo rental details

Will my car or UTV fit inside the enclosed trailer?

Send the vehicle’s length, width, height and weight, along with loading requirements. Roadside reviews the door opening, interior clearance, ramp capacity, ground clearance and usable payload before confirming fit.

Check the enclosed trailer’s fit

What is the difference between the car hauler and tilt deckover?

The published flat-deck car hauler is 7.5×17.5 feet, while the hydraulic tilt deckover is 8.5×24 feet. Send your vehicle or equipment dimensions, weight and loading needs. Roadside confirms the appropriate unit, usable payload and accessories rather than selecting by length alone.

Compare car and equipment trailers

Do you have smaller trailer options?

The site groups a 6×12 open deck and a 5×8 enclosed option under Small Trailer Options. Roadside confirms which unit is available, its fit, towing requirements and final rate before booking. A grouped listing does not reserve either trailer.

Ask about a smaller trailer

Before you rent

Towing and loading

The exact trailer and your vehicle must suit the planned load.

Is the gross trailer rating the weight I can carry?

No. Gross trailer rating includes the trailer itself and its load. Roadside confirms the selected unit’s empty weight and usable payload, together with the tow vehicle, receiver and hitch ratings. The advertised gross rating is not a cargo allowance.

Towing and payload planning

How do I know whether my vehicle can tow the trailer?

Send the vehicle’s year, make and model, hitch details and electrical connection, plus your planned load. Roadside checks the selected trailer, towing capacity, braking requirements and setup before approving pickup. Tell the team when you are unsure; delivery can be discussed.

What to confirm before pickup

Are ramps, straps or a winch included?

Confirm accessories with the team before pickup. Explain your loading and tie-down needs so Roadside can confirm what is supplied with the selected trailer and record the equipment at checkout. Do not assume every unit comes with the same accessories.

Loading and accessory requirements

Can I take a rental into Washington or another state?

Taking a Roadside rental across state lines requires advance approval from Austin or Tysen. Include your destination and planned route with the request. A Washington project guide or delivery listing does not replace that approval for a self-towed rental.

Can I rent a trailer without a tow vehicle?

Request delivery to your home or project site. Roadside reviews the equipment, full address, access, placement and retrieval plan with you. Delivery dates and the complete price are confirmed before the rental is booked.

Browse the existing local guides

Is there a pickup lot in Portland, Beaverton or Vancouver?

The published Roadside pickup lot is at 8725 SW Commercial St, Tigard, OR 97223. Other city pages describe project locations, not additional branches. Arrange Tigard pickup or ask the team to review delivery to your full address.

Confirm the pickup location

What details should I provide for trailer delivery?

Send the full project address, trailer choice, rental dates and preferred placement spot. Describe gates, turning room, driveway access, surface conditions and anything affecting drop-off or retrieval. Roadside confirms access, placement, timing and the complete quote before booking.

Prepare your delivery request

Does trailer delivery include loading or loaded-trailer haul-away?

Tell Roadside which help you need. Empty-trailer delivery, loaded-trailer hauling, disposal and a crew cleanout have different scopes. Those services are included only when agreed in the complete quote.
